Carter Lane
Physiotherapist
Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Carter completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto following a Bachelor of Kinesiology with Distinction from the University of Calgary. During his undergraduate degree, he competed as a varsity track and field athlete, where his experience in competitive sport sparked a strong interest in strength training, rehabilitation, and human performance.
Carter’s clinical approach combines thorough assessment, clinical reasoning, and evidence-informed treatment with an emphasis on progressive strength and exercise-based rehabilitation. He also incorporates manual therapy, education, and acupuncture when appropriate to support each client’s recovery.
Carter is particularly interested in working with active individuals and athletes, helping them recover from injury while developing the strength, capacity, and confidence required to return to the activities they enjoy. He is also passionate about integrating objective measures and technology into physiotherapy to better understand movement and performance and support clinical decision-making.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Carter is committed to continuously expanding his knowledge to provide his clients with the most up-to-date, high-quality, and individualized care.
