Built for the full journey from pregnancy to performance.
A structured pelvic health program for birth preparation, postpartum recovery, impact readiness, and returning to the activities that demand more from your body.
It changes how your body feels, moves, breathes, lifts, and carries load.
Everyone talks about getting ready for the baby.
Fewer people talk about getting your body ready for birth, and what comes after.
Because birth is not the finish line.
Your body still has to heal, rebuild, and return to the life you want to live.

THE PROGRAM
A clear plan for a stage that rarely feels clear.
Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery come with a lot of unknowns. These six 1-hour sessions give you the right support at the right time, from baseline to birth prep, to return to running and performance.
Yes, we offer shorter 30 or 45-minute follow-up appointments to accommodate your schedule, insurance coverage, or personal preference. Please note that initial assessments must remain 1 hour long. If you opt for shorter sessions, your physiotherapist may recommend more frequent appointments to ensure you have enough time to reach your goals.
Do I need this program if my pregnancy is healthy and pain-free?
Yes, this program is highly beneficial even if you are not experiencing any pain. We can assess your baseline pelvic health and provide tailored exercises to prepare your body for labour, delivery, and recovery. You will also learn valuable education for labour, including optimized body positioning and breathing techniques.
Is a vaginal exam safe during pregnancy?
Vaginal exams are safe during most pregnancies, though we recommend checking with your doctor or midwife first if you have medical complications (e.g. an active infection, ruptured membranes, placenta previa, or have been placed on pelvic rest). As a precaution, we typically wait until after your first trimester is complete to perform an internal exam.
When can I start this program?
You are welcome to join the program at any time, including during late pregnancy or the postpartum phase. Your physiotherapist will perform an initial assessment and customize the program to your specific needs and goals.
Is this program helpful if I am planning a Caesarean section?
Yes, pregnancy changes the demands on your pelvic floor and body regardless of your delivery method. A pelvic health assessment allows us to provide targeted techniques for early postpartum to protect your incision while caring for your baby. Your physiotherapist will also teach you proper scar care techniques for your recovery.
When can I start my postpartum pelvic floor rehab?
We recommend booking your postpartum assessment around the 6-week mark after you have been cleared by your doctor or midwife. We typically avoid internal vaginal exams before this point to allow your body sufficient time to heal. However, you can book an appointment at any time if you are experiencing pain, having difficulty moving, or want to address immediate concerns.
Can I bring my baby to my appointments?
Absolutely, you are more than welcome to bring your baby with you. All appointments are conducted in private rooms where your baby can safely stay.
How is this program billed?
There is no upfront cost for this program. You only pay for each individual session at the time of your appointment.
Is this program covered by my insurance?
All sessions are conducted by a Registered Physiotherapist, making them eligible for coverage under most extended health benefit plans. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm the specific details and limits of your plan.
